We Enable Climate Education For Climate Action

The girls found this a really empowering approach and they felt that we should make this part of our permanent teaching, telling us that climate change education was important "so students can understand and have a better future" and that "if people learn this, then more people will make an impact."

As an educator using the Earth Warriors curriculum, I love that the lessons are easy to use and adapt to our local issues and ecosystems. The children I’ve worked with love the hands-on materials and activities and look forward to finding out what’s next! They feel empowered to take actionable steps for the betterment of Earth and their futures.

My class looked forward to camp days every week and talked about the Earth Warrior characters repeatedly. The characters and their friends really grabbed their attention, and they loved singing along to the Earth Warriors song. As we progressed through the summer, the campers became more attached to the characters and they each had their favorite. They seemed proud to call themselves Earth Warriors and were eager to tell us which one they most aligned with. We used lessons from the shortened curriculum along with a couple lessons from the regular curriculum. They loved hands-on activities and using art to explore science.

We know climate education is important and we have started the conversation with our students. Earth Warriors give them the tools to feel prepared for the future.

We’ve been using the Earth Warriors programme at our school for nearly 2 years now, with our 3-4 year olds and 4-5 year olds and all our children absolutely love it. Through the EW curriculum, they truly understand some of the challenges our planet faces, but also learn to appreciate nature and think about our world with curiosity and consideration. The different elements such as stories, songs, various characters and projects all come together to make it developmentally appropriate and approach a difficult topic through playful learning so children feel confident about the role they can play.

Earth Warriors is a fantastic curriculum that is very easy to use and adapt for our school. All of the resources provided are really thorough and help us as teachers teach the very best climate education. The students absolutely love it and do not stop talking about Earth Warriors. Just moments after a lesson, you can see it has already made a change. Children are already thinking like Earth Warriors and influencing their parents too!
